GNFAC Avalanche Advisory for Tue Oct 14, 2014

Not the Current Forecast

Welcome to another season of avalanche information!

This year is our 25th year of operation, our own Silver Jubilee!

Snow in the mountains, a bit of ice on the Sphinx and a weekly slate of ski movies in Bozeman means winter is on her way. We are gearing up for the season by getting our weather stations up, scheduling education classes and dusting off our equipment and brains to prepare for an epic season.

We are adding avalanche education classes to our calendar almost daily.  We are also posting avalanche classes taught by private companies so you one-stop-shop on our Education Calendar.

We hope to see you at this year’s 16th Annual Powder Blast. Information and a link to buy tickets are below. It’s limited to 250 people and we will likely sell out.

In the coming weeks we will keep you posted on snow, avalanche classes and other winter related beta.

Enjoy the fall,

Doug
