First Snow = First turns

I just got back from a dawn patrol ski tour in the Bridgers! Yesterday’s snowstorm dumped heaps of snow at the higher elevations and the skiing was the better than I ever would have guessed.

Ok, I’m joking.  But admit it, you got a little excited, didn’t you?

The Avalanche Center is just cracking the door back open.  I’m working part time and Mark and Eric won’t be on board until October.  But there are some exciting events coming up as well as good opportunities for avalanche education.  I’m listing the highlights below and will keep you informed in the coming weeks so you can start to make plans and get psyched for an epic winter.

Enjoy the autumn and stay tuned,

Doug
